  Re: Seattle school bans LEGO

(...) The 'reactionary' part is that what they claim happened didn't happen. Without access (or reference) to the original article it's no surprise that it seems grossly ridiculous.   Re: The most famous German sofa.

(...) Good rendition. I'm not familiar with the show (don't get much German comedy in Aus... unless you count Inspector Rex) but I am familiar with Lego :) Is it two sided or does its facade hide all sort of secrets (very fitting for a TV show)? Tim (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Hi All and Gerhard Istok I was looking up some info for this set I just picked up. The Universal Building Set 112. It says on the box front that there 185 pieces in it. Peeron list a 112 as a train set and one as a universal building set with 285 (...) (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.inv)

(...) Very old news [1] but I'm sure the reactionary right wing press will keep it going for a long time yet. The original article was up for a while. It bore little resemblance to all subsequent reports. Tim [1] (URL) (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.mediawatch)

On Youtube.com (URL) I feel sorry for the kids. Where is the fun? Maybe LEGO should send more LEGO elements to the school! :) -Abner (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Akos- Congratulations on running an event that was popular beyond your wildest imagining! What did you do to promote it? Beautiful layout. Definitely worth waiting in line. Sounds like you'll need a larger space next time. -Teddy (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.events, FTX)

I see many very well build and interesting MOC's in your galleries. Could you provide us with information about who build what, in the long run? (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.events, FTX)

Re: LEGO Exhibition in Budapest - lessons learned

(...) Good job on the show! Every single event, regardless of how easy or hard it may look, provides lessons to be learned. Underestimating is a really good thing (okay, not-so-good when it's happening) as it gives your club and the event a nice (...) (17 years ago, 30-Oct-07, to lugnet.events, FTX)
