  Re: Lego Service pack Question

Weighing a piece lot is almost quickest (most economic) way of counting it, and just to avoid any mistake (I mean missing parts) they always add an extra of the smallest (lightest) parts to the lot. In other words, they are working in the safe side (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Inv request - 8422

I need to reconstruct some 8422 Circuit Shock Racers, I have the instructions, but you know they always have extra bits in them. I have ONE left unopened, and really don't want to open it. I plan on building the bike according to the instructions, (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

New items posted to JABA - ultra-low starting bids on some

Well, I decided to have a little fun tonight. I've been pricing most things at or near recent auction prices, so most things have been selling at their asking prices, which is fine by me, but it doesn't really make for any excitement. SO, in an (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey

Thank you very much friends..:-) I've read all responses from you and being part of such a nice community made me very happy and proud, as always. For the several questions arise, here are my thoughts. - Lego prices are very high in Turkey. When the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  RE: Parts and Pattern

(...) I think 2D is enough: when you apply the sticker, just offset it by e.g. 0.1 LDU (or even less) and it won't float noticeable. And stickers should be modeled using linetype 3 and 4 only. /Lars (25 years ago, 31-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Yep. Saw the box and thought "ooohhh, what could it be?", I didn't order anything. The least they could have done was included a $10 coupon for the free advertising they expect from our wearing of the hats. My 5 year old loves it. Julie (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: IR to PC

(...) It is my understanding that IrDA and the RCX use totally different carrier frequencies for the IR ports, and thus are incompatible at a much more basic hardware level. This has been discussed in great detail in the past, so I recommend (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Alone?

Surely *somebody* is out there. All the clearance sets keep disappearing. And what about Big Lots. Someone's scooping those, except for those stupid little 9.99 freestyle sets whose only redeming factor is the thick, green baseplate. Anybody? (...)   RE: PCB Design tools?

I searched the net for the best free PCB design software about eight months ago, someone from this list recommended Eagle, it turned out to be the best, very easy to use and quit powerful. It would definitely be worth your time to check it out, the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
