  Re: Brickshelf Status-- any update???

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) I think that message might be coming up for everybody when downloading #9. I got it with a US address. (Either that or TwoMorrows has restrictions within the US, also.) Erik (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

This is a bad new. You instantly loose most of your non-american readers, as we aren't going to pay an intercontinental shipping for our issues. Thanks for your great previous work, Gianluca (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) Excellent work again Joe, I've only had a chance for a quick browse, but it looks top notch as usual, well done to all of you. (...) "Sorry, we do not accept payments from your region at this time." That's gonna make a whole bunch of people (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: New POV-dat: 3062bL46.dat - Brick 1 x 1 Round Yellow with POV Light

(...) It depends. Do you want the light to act more like it would through LEGO parts or do you want it to imitate a real car's headlights...? Anyway, the choice the user's. All you have to do is write the spotlight definitions ans run it through (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Brickjournal 9

E' uscito BrickJournal 9! (URL) 9 è l'ultima uscita della rivista gratuita, dopodichè BrickJournal diventerà un giornale stampato tradizionale. Ciao Marco (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

Out of curiousity, I found TwoMorrow's comic products at MileHighComics.com. Will BrickJournal be distributed by Diamond Comics? I saw TwoMorrows products listed in their Previews comic ordering catalog. (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: Brickshelf Status-- any update???

(...) What gives is that this is Kevin Loch we're talking about. Use Flickr. Brickshelf is a waste of time and energy. (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.ambassadors)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) Since all of these are looked at after entry, the fake letters should scrub themselves out. (...) Well, you solved that one, so I won't comment on that. (...)   Re: Brickfair is official....

(...) Well, I think it's pretty darn petty to insist on a $3,000 fee. If Brickfest is off the table, I would hope that we as a community can come up with a name that be used relatively freely. I do agree that certain standards should be maintained, (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.events, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) Why do I have to enter at least two characters for a state? I don't live in any state, I live in a city in a country. What use can you have of two faked state letters? And definitely don't ask for my telephone number! No way I'd give that away (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: Previous step color scaling

(...) Sure, you will be able to. I used a modified version of PreL3P, my little tool for replacing color codes. I'll post version 1.3 which will include this ability (loading different configurations partway through a model) soon, once I take care (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Previous step color scaling

(...) Wow. That looks nice. Can I do this too? You mentioned creating separate files for each cumulative step in the model - as Bricksmith exports. Isn't Bricksmith Mac software? I have a PC with MLCad... Jaco (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  L3PAO Bug

It seems L3PAO doesn't save the prefered defualt settings correctly from the Seam Width value field. If I enter "0.6", then exit the program and start it again, the field shows "0,6" which gives #declare SW = 0; // Width of seam between two bricks (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  LPub error

Hi there, I got a question from a Dutch user of LPub. He is not able to render pictures with either POV-Ray, LDView nor LDGLite. LDView and LDLite (and LDGLite) do work without using LPub. He gets this error: "The handle is invalid". Pictures that (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)
