A very odd instruction booklet error

I just finished building the Republic Cruiser (mmm, R2-R7...so tasty) and I spotted a really weird goof in the second instruction booklet. If you turn to page 65, in the bottom picture, there is something which is very clearly neither one of the new (...) (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: The Future of Trains

(...) Fair enough, but clearly the idea has sparked some interest, so I'm sure I'll see it get put into use at some point. (...) The ports may be able to pour out power, as you say, but I'd say it's equally well established that large trains with (...) (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: The Future of Trains

(...) Talk to Ondrew Hartigan. He's already tracked down a company that can provide an replacement, even if they're not the company that manufactured the original units. (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: The Future of Trains // Wishlist

(...) Why can't it be both? Imagine, if you will, a track system that's designed based around the 12v components, but with the ends of the rails being shaped to couple with the 9v/RC track instead. (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Rutland Boxcar #104

(...) That looks awesome! I'm also glad to know that my Sticker Generator software is being used. If you have any ideas on how to improve the software, please let me know. Again, really great looking model of such a historic box car! Scott (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The Future of Trains

(...) I am sorry to hear the news, but I am not surprised. There are two things Lego can do to help the transition on those of us with a large investment in the 9v system. 1) the most consumable element in the 9v system is the train motor. But in (...)   Re: The Future of Trains // Wishlist

(...) Just off the top of my head, I have the following thoughts on a prospective new train system. Benn On the batteries: -I am concerned that the weight of batteries could limit long trains. So the battery weight will be just as important as it's (...) (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Sticker Generator for LDRAW / MLCAD

(...) Wow, I can't believe I only just found this thread! txt2dat uses Jonathan Richard Shewchuk's Triangle library to triangulate polygons generated by Truetype fonts. All you need to do is supply a list of verteces, and it will generate the (...) (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: The Future of Trains

Well I get back from a relaxing break and I am greeted with this announcement. I am sad of course, but I am not surprised. I have been slowly purchasing track, motors, and regulators in anticipation of this day and I know of many others who have (...) (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego)

  Rutland Boxcar #104

One of the positive sides of all the recent talk of 9v trains is that it got me building again. I don't usually post renders, but I liked the way this one turned out, and I don't (yet) have the pieces to build it. Here is my version of Rutland (...)   Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) I think we've gone very far beyond the "vote for some of these stock models" point of the original post, but as long as we've gone there... <grin>... I would love to see an "assembly line" style Technic series (each kit does something on it's (...) (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: What would YOU like to see from TECHNIC?

(...) For me the new bulldozer marks a return to some studded building, which in my opinion is welcomed. So far there have been some good suggestions. What about some process line plant, that would manipulate a object on a conveyer and maybe put it (...) (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  L(EGO)Draw part discrepancies

I have checked LEGO Universe Team parts ((URL) official or non-official parts when they exist, and noticed several differences.   Re: New Mecha

(...) Thanks, Fradel. My goal was to make a mech with the mission profile of the Longbow, but have it be lighter and faster. Ironically, I do believe I had this slated as a 3058 mech. Thanks again, Jon (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Future of Trains

(...) As Ross mentioned, I was focused more on the "future" of trains, and if it's going to be done in LEGO, it looks like it will be done without conductive track. (...)
