  Re: First Posting

Hi! A late welcome (that'll teach you to post only in the technique forum ; ) Your MOCs are excellent and I look forward to seeing more! Always glad to add a talented builder to the ranks! Welcome again and God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Indiana and Ohio GP7

That is a great model and a great livery. I'll echo Harvey in saying its the best GP7 I've seen. As a matter of interest why is the SNOT for the grills so complicated? Tim PS would you like me to make some stickers for the logo? (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

(...) Hi there. I'm just getting up to speed with OpenGL so it will be a little while before I can really sink my teeth into this. But, one thing I have learned so far is that the rule about non-concave quads is actually a limitation of OpenGL. It (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) This has to be among the best Geeps I've seen built from LEGO. (...) Rooftop air reservoirs help add to the profile, as well as spur questions from those not-in-the-know. (...) Spotlighted -HRH (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Classic Space XL

(...) Hi Eric, I didn't know about your times-3 version of the LL924. Yours is pretty close to the times-1 version. I tried to include some UCS like stuff you can find on Star Wars UCS sets and some other details which could not be realized in the (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Classic Space XL

Hi Akos, thanks for your feedback. Yes, the main logo on the front was tricky. There was not enough space for a mosaic like logo so I had to come up with another solution. And yes, the LL924 XL will stop by in Berlin next weekend. See U Holger (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.space)

NCLUG Harry Potter Goblet of Fire Display

Greetings, This post is long overdue, my bad. Our group NCLUG was contacted by a local movie theatre to provide a display to accompany the release of Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. (2 URLs) built a 192 stud square display that stayed up for (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.announce, FTX)

  Indiana and Ohio GP7

I've been itching to build an EMD GP7 or GP9 (they are nearly identical in appearance) for a while and I settled on the Indiana and Ohio Railway Company scheme. The air reservoirs on top of the hood aren't (URL) prototypical>, but I just had to use (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !!

  Re: 1960's cabins motel

It's good that you've done a slight offset of each cabin relative to the others in the row of three, but I think it would look more natural when you do this with the other rows (of two cabins each) also. There are some nice details in the (...) (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.town)
