  Re: Need Electrical Help

Yes Thank you very much. This is a big help I am electrically challenged in circuits. I am trying a Microwave switch to power a train signal and track for a manually movable bridge. I will try to post it later L. Andrew Reynolds (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: London Underground Standard Tube Stock

(...) Sock! LOL Thanks for your comments. If you look at the pic below you should be able to see the skirting (far left of pic, with a motor wheel visible under by its metallic shine). (URL) Ta, David (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.underground, FTX)

Re: Spartan Heavy Assault Mech Repost

(...) Thanks Travis. I'll have a new design done probably within the next week. Then I'll get a chance to use the PNG file. (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  RC/9v Train Wheel Question

I'm currently designing a set of passenger cars, and it could be very beneficial to me to be able to have my train base one plate lower than one would normally be able to have using the standard LEGO wheels. This would, of course, lead me to using (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains)

LEJOS OSEK giving me funky dll errors

I've installed LEJOS OSEK 1.04, but when I try to make all in the helloworld example, I get the error "This application has failed to start because cygintl-3.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I've tried telling (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

Re: And there's the books I just finished reading...

(...) Never read the others. "Enders Game" was my favorite, even if it had had nothing but Battle School and the zero-G "capture the flag" scenes. Not only is it an example of true 3-D thinking on a book (rare enough... ever wonder why the Kligons (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Spartan Heavy Assault Mech Repost

(...) PNG files are lossless, which means they'll look identical to the BMP files. Taking spartan01.bmp as an example, the BMP file is 1880KB (1.8MB), while a PNG of the same image is 74KB, and the two images are identical on-screen. When I posted (...)   Re: London Underground Standard Tube Stock

(...) David: Nice work! I love the general shape of those cars and the use of the smaller train wheels is spot-on. One question. You mentioned the motor in the actual cars being hidden beneath a skirt. Is this true on your model as well? Do these (...)   Re: File Error - what does it exactly mean?

(...) You've got 32k to work with for all variables of all types, including user-defined types and arrays. Every time you manipulate an array you use up more memory due to copying taking place in the VM. If you shared with me some information about (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
