Re: MOCpages, now a Brickshelf alternative

(...) On top of this, click padding/click fraud throws the whole system off. The core concept is based on a system that tracks, reports, and allows advertisers to respond based on real interest. For instance, if I'm selling widgets and am using (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Brickshelf back up (at least temporarily) loss of pictures

(...) I have noticed the file count has dropped by over 11,000 pictures since Brickshelf has been back up. I do not know about others but I’m hopping to be able to view all the bookmarks I have acquired over the years at least once more. We still (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: MOCpages, now a Brickshelf alternative

This is something I was hoping would happen as a result of the discontinuation of Brickshelf. I for one would gladly pay to use MOC pages -- although my concern is that that would make it difficult for kids to use the site. As for the MOC comments, (...)   Re: An Open Letter to Kevin (BrickShelf)

(...) I'd also like to thank you Kevin for the inspiration (and ease of use!) of Brickshelf. I've used it for several years for MOCs (mine and others). It has truly been a wonderful resource over the years, and having all that in a single central (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Official LEGO storage boxes? For more than a hundred bucks each?!

(...) Yeah, the website says that the LEGO furniture is made from pine and MDF. Also says that the item will come mostly unassembled - much easier to ship that way I guess. Besides, being a construction toy company, I'd expect most LEGO products to (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Official LEGO storage boxes? For more than a hundred bucks each?!

(...) This guess seems out of whack. Lego has pretty thin price margins comparatively (just ask merchandisers what the 'at cost' price is for Lego to get an idea). I don't see why Lego would be jacking up the price for these storage bins but NOT for (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: MOCpages, now a Brickshelf alternative

(...) That is such great news. While I don't mind creating new pages using a different image host, the thought of changing my existing page was a bit forbidding. When I read the same info on the site I just thought, behind that simple message (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: An Open Letter to Kevin (BrickShelf)

(...) If I may, I'd like to sign my name to this letter as well. Thank you, Kevin. Anthony Sava Brickshelf #2121 (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Official LEGO storage boxes? For more than a hundred bucks each?!

(...) Well, from what I understand, the materials are made of pine (softwood...As an amateur woodworker, I like hardwoods much better), and I agree, the prices are a bit high, but there's still probably a bit of cost there. Wood is not cheap, even (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Brickshelf Backup Crawler for Mac

(...) Thank you Jim! This was great and saved me a lot of time :) -Anne (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)
