  Re: Issues at Northstar?

(...) Yes, there are issues with Northstar, I'll let Eric post details, but a number of LEGO sites appear to be affected. Club sites that use a database, as well as the ones you mention, and others like BrickFest.com, are currently offline. (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Clifton D. Chambers stop ignoring me and ship the jambalaya box!

(...) I hope this gets resolved positively for you soon - I remember worrying when I first started using Bricklink since I was not used to sending money to strangers (and boy can AFOLs be strange ;-)) and then waiting for them to send me my legos (...)   Re: My newest building.

(...) Dave: I love it! Great work on that tiled roof. As the previous poster mentioned, you nailed it! Is the interior furnished at all? This whole modular building thing is a great idea. I really like seeing all the different buildings people are (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Power Function Motors

(...) I have now seen a picture of the box on brickshelf which clearly shows the sound module. (URL) direct control, but there is indirect control through the motor operation then. Thanks again! linmix (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 7997 Train Station available from Shop At Home

(...) This is exactly what's holding me back from purchasing this set. The RC rails are useless to me right now and the price per piece is just too high compared to some of the other great sets out right now. I'll probably buy a couple more Cafe (...)   Re: LEGO licenses Indiana Jones

(...) But wait - since the old Adventurers and upcoming Indy line share so many similarities, wouldn't it make more sense to only have one and not both? Besides, despite the two distinct looks of Classic Space and Star Wars, it was generally assumed (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: LEGO licenses Indiana Jones

(...) Classic Space and Star Wars have two distinct looks. I think the only real difference between the Adventurer's line and anything they do with Indiana Jones would be in the characters. Vehicles, temples, tombs, etc. are pretty generic. Unlike (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: LEGO licenses Indiana Jones

(...) I suppose this means the death knell (or at least on-hold status) for the Adventurers theme, the way Star Wars killed Classic Space? Still I doubt most people will be quite as emotionally attached to Adventurers.. (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)
