Going Forward, A new and very temporary web page for rtlToronto is up and running. Please feel free to update any and all links to: www.rtltoronto.com There you will still be able to find out WHERE the dinner is. You can admire the logo in the (...)   Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) Neat! Here's what I get with my quick attempt to try the examples with the current code, built using the same Qt 3.3.7 I used for the alpha. The bricks appear scaled correctly, but there are some large artifacts. ldview -ModelSize=600 (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Brickworld Registration Deadline Extended

<<https://registrati...Logo.png>> We are extending the registration deadline for Brickworld to June 14th. Both the event registration deadline and hotel registration deadline (to receive the special Brickworld rate) are now June 14th. Event space (...)   Re: Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

(...) I'm sorry if you thought that my post was alarmist over-reaction. I could claim your response to my post was much the same, I guess. (...) No, no. I'm saying that the scene "reminds me of some of the Abu Graib pictures", and that I find the (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) It uses LDraw units. (...) I do plan to release a Mac binary of the Beta. In fact, I'll probably get that built and posted to sf.net before announcing it more officially and updating the LDView web page. --Travis (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) What units does the -ModelSize argument use? (...) Thanks for the examples! Those are helpful. Your recent changes must indeed have fixed something relevant; the images I generate with the first few example commands are very large (and not to (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) IIRC, wasn't there some pics of somebody's micro SW MOCs on Brickshelf a long time ago - they used a 1x1 brick for a Tie Fighter (or something like that)? It was pretty funny seeing one part MOCs like that! (URL) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I initially was trying to build a *micro* Constellation, but by the time it was finished I thought the model better deserved to be called a 'mini'. Of course, this brings up the entire debate about what scale is micro, what is mini and so on. (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

That's a first for me. The web Preview of my previous message looked different. The images were all placed on the line after their associated command line, which was what I wanted, and made it easier to read. --Travis (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) fine, as long as you set x to be big enough. With the current source code, -cg (with radius) should also work fine. Despite the fact that -cg was documented to support the radius part in LDView 3.1, it in fact didn't. I fixed that, but perhaps (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Bulk Lots for Sale - Bulk Bricks

The Lego bricks included in this lot have been part of an adult Lego collection. While they are technically "used" you will find they are in EXCELLENT condition. Lego recently changed some of its basic colors, My Lego lots include the original/old (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jun-07, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Robo Quad - Stage Nine

(...) Looks like this long build of yours is almost finished! I assume that the lack of different colors was a conscious choice on your part, or did only black seem to have the parts selection that you needed? I hope if you bring this to shows that (...)   Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I can see your point - its interesting how it appears to me that many AFOL's perception of Lego "back in the good ol' days" seems to change depending on what the Lego was like in their respective childhoods. For instance, I have always thought (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  LDView command line snapshot scaling

I have a series of models (representing instruction steps) that I would like to render at the same scale with LDView. I can use LDView to save snapshots from the command line (LDView model.ldr -SaveSnapshot=model.png), but I cannot figure out how to (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Yellow/white color change?

I received a Bricklink parts order recently containing some white and yellow pieces that look slightly different from the colors I'm used to. The colors on these parts are a bit less saturated than those of my existing pieces. The difference is (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.parts)

  Travel & Ship to/from BrickWorld?

I'm wondering what the best way to get from O'Hare to the airport might be. Also anyone willing to pickup up a couple AFOLs at about 2:30pm Wednesday? You can email me.   Re: Maillotia Light Fighter/Bomber

(...) Very cool! I especially like the starboard cannon. Are those aft-facing guns over the engines or something else? Anyway, I love the blocky design--sort of clunky, in a very agreeable way. Retractable landing gear is something that always (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  7992 Container stacker - Question

I noticed this is listed with 402 parts on S@H. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Seems a bit high to me for what I see in the image. (URL) Best, Jonathan (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.town)
