  Re: L3P On Strike

(...) Yes, it did the trick! I just pasted "SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw" into the batch file and L3P went nicely back to work. Now I have to figure out how to remind Windows please to use its enviroment variables... Thanks again! /Tore (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: L3P On Strike

(...) Sometimes Windows seems to have a hard time remembering environment variables in DOS boxes (I'm sure there's some long, complicated and stupid system to it). Maybe add something to set them to the batch files and see if it works. Tim (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, it is my method of marking that the file represents one animation frame. '@' is a legal filename character and has worked before, but to be 100% sure, I removed it from the batch file as well as from the model (...) (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  L3P On Strike

I have used L3P for years, and suddely it went on strike. AutoExec.bat still contains: SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And the SET command still outputs: LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And C:\Windows\ldraw.ini still contains: BaseDirectory=f:\LDraw But running the .bat (...) (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Controlling trains with NXT?

(...) Block control was fairly common on model train layouts before DCC and other digital solutions became available. If you do a google search for "block control" you should find a few references. Hello, although I am not a fan of LOST at all, I enjoyed seeing these scenes. Not only you built nice detailed dioramas here. Also the way you managed to catch their spirit with the camera is outstanding. Great work! – Christopher (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Controlling trains with NXT?

As some of you are probably aware, there are people who use DCC controls that allow them to operate two trains independantly on the same stretch of track. This system, however, requires that you hack open motor bogeys to install the DCC control (...) (19 years ago, 21-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics.nxt)
