  Re: Millenium Falcon 10179 Raffle

I think it would be an excellent idea. I have run similar raffles in my other hobbies (yes there are other hobbies) and have seen great success (ie everyone even if they don't win gets the warm fuzzies). I hope you do get someone to purchase said (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 8889 Technic Truck

I have the 8889 book, and looking closely at your photos and the book's I couldn't find even one tiny difference. (Apart fromt he blue beam you mentioned but that doesn't count). It's THAT good. Since you already experienced the anguish of seeing (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Peeron inventories

(...) Agreed, Orion. I've never submitted an inventory, but I've had occasion to double-check sets against what's listed on Peeron, and haven't had anywhere near the results stated above. The only inconsistency I've found have been in the "extra (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Peeron inventories

(...) Is that 95% of the total? I must say, I'm entirely satisfied with the accuracy of the Peeron inventories, but then, I'm only referencing a very small selection. If your claim isn't about 95% of the total, could you clarify what your sample is? (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

  Peeron inventories

(...) Nice work! Note sure I like the new fin version over the old, though. Both are good, but I like the consistent fin thickness in the old. Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (19 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
