  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Ahh, ok. I thought it might be either the price tag or the bley issue, but just checking. For myself, I've found buying sets to be kinda helpful insofar as it exposes me to new pieces and increases my collection's potential. Kind of like when (...)   Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Price. I can't see the day where I would spend more than $40-$50 (if even that) on a set any more. Not that I disagree with you or feel it is not worth whatever the price will be. I just don't spend that kind of money on sets. I'd rather go to (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

(...) Willy, unfortunately, the Irish Flag was removed from the sticker sheet and put onto a flag in a rather poor manner (this was how Fred got the set). Figures it had to be that sticker sheet! I will see if I can at least get you a sticker sheet (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.general)

(19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Huh-- why is that? I'd think it would make a fantastic set for various parts, even if you're not interested in the model (since it might not necessarily fit into your desired scale or scheme). DaveE (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

This is SPARTA!!! Figure from the "300"

Well the title pretty much says it all. I created decals to make the Spartans from the new film the "300." I utilized RedBean's Spear, Helmet, and Shield to really pull this figure together, decaling the lambda on the shield. (URL) Image is (URL) (...)   Re: The rarest colour in LEGO - grey on a NXT?

(...) Rasmus - Sorry I haven't been able to work on this some more lately. I had to spend my birthday - a day off work - taking my car back to the dealer.   The LEGO Company vs The LEGO Group

I noticed today in a bulk emailing from LEGOLAND California this item at the bottom of the message: ®2007 The LEGO Group. A Merlin Entertainments Group Company.   Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Wow indeed. I never thought I'd see an official set like that. It's perhaps a touch overdone - too many colours/details in a relatively small space - but still, wow! With these 2007 sets you are spoiling us, ambassa... er, LEGO. I have vowed (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

(...) No, sorry to disappoint, but a row of terraced houses in England (and there are possibly millions to choose from) would never have that kind of pattern. The only exception I can think of is occasionally you find houses set at a slight angle to (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Amazing lego set. I can't see myself buying it, but really look forward to seeing builders expand upon it and make blocks of similarly styled and detailed buildings. Jonathan (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Fluid Schleim

(URL) Hi all, Here's a little trick I've used in a couple of models (eg. rear wheels of my Corvette) to get compact snot with fluid movement in TWO directions.
