  Re: NXT on Linux.

(...) I really like this, and may give it a go. Please make it available somewhere... I take it the -s lists the BT devices in terms of addresses that can be used with the -a command? If you need somewhere to host the download while you get your (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

(...) No, sorry to disappoint, but a row of terraced houses in England (and there are possibly millions to choose from) would never have that kind of pattern. The only exception I can think of is occasionally you find houses set at a slight angle to (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) This set is completely beautiful!!!! Remember LEGO Ambassador Steve Sander's (URL) announcement>? Check out (URL) this drawing>. It says this modular building project will launch in April and there will be more detail in the March (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) Amazing lego set. I can't see myself buying it, but really look forward to seeing builders expand upon it and make blocks of similarly styled and detailed buildings. Jonathan (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Fluid Schleim

(URL) Hi all, Here's a little trick I've used in a couple of models (eg. rear wheels of my Corvette) to get compact snot with fluid movement in TWO directions. Loads of variants obviously but it might prove useful for those with a tricky geometry to (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

(URL) Just saw this on BS. I've heard the set mentioned by name on Eurobricks but to see it... just WOW. Tim (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX) !!

  NXT on Linux.

Hi, I just discovered this forum and I found a lot of interesting things.... I work on linux and I found that there is very little around on how to use NXT with BlueTooth on Linux, so I started writing my own set of tools. I have finished a first (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Part Authors: opinions sought on T-Junctions

(...) Well... Technically it is true. The rendering program ought to be able to scan all the points in each part and look for intersections with every edge in the part. Then break up the offensive T-joins automagically and render it perfectly. (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: The LEGO Group Selects NetDevil to Create Branded MMOG

(...) I'll be keeping an eye on this, it could be very interesting. But I've got to wonder why LEGO decided to announce it more than a year before their official release date... Kelly (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

(...) I noticed these yesterday but work got in the way . . . I really like the colors used and the use of plates as well. The smoke effect above the burned out window is really nice. I might give it a try on buildings for my next layout. The Maersk (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: The rarest colour in LEGO - grey on a NXT?

(...) Thanks Jason (...) It is pretty close I think. I fixed some bugs. Now Demo.rxe and "Try Me" loads/runs but terminates early. Actually, it is really fun as one is forced to look inside and understand the LEGO virtual machine. Well, My latest (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

Very nice, the brick (as in the 'real' ones ; ) orientation and boarded up windows are great details and the whole street comes across nicely. Thanks for sharing! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Part Authors: opinions sought on T-Junctions

(...) Arguably it's probably the algorithms and/or numerical proccessing that are at fault. Certainly when you design scientific code algorithms they should usually be created in such a way that it minimises numerical error. Of course I don't expect (...)   Re: MOC: Terraced houses

As you already know from the Brickish Association I love these houses. I think they are my favorite MOC of all time. They are definatly the UK equivalent of Jonathan Lopes' seedy city building, but I can relate more to them! Although everyone in the (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

Hi Alastair, thanks for sharing your architecture creations. I love the way you build these typical houses form England. And you not only did "copy and paste", you added various styles. So life comes into the LEGO bricks. I remember these types of (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Part Authors: opinions sought on T-Junctions

(...) I'd really appreciate it if you didn't blame it on the rendering programs. There's really nothing that they can do to fix the problem. I can understand why you might feel that they are at fault, but it really isn't true. As such, you might (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

Re: Part Authors: opinions sought on T-Junctions

(...) I try to minimise file size whenever possible myself and have nothing against T juctions. While the gaps can be annoying I feel that they are a fault of the rendering program rather than the parts. (19 years ago, 4-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
