Re: ideas for building radar and communications gear for an airport/air traffic control/etc

(...) An airport builder, man after my own heart. What I've done for my airport 4.2, is put two radar dishes on the top roof of my tower, I built the roof SNOT style, with two Technic hole bricks, attached the radars to axles, put a gear at the (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: Build a Suburban House (or homes) for Brickfest

(...) this is really really a cool idea. allthough i won't be attending brickfest this year because of brickworld, i think i might take a crack at this. is there any particular reason for the large offsets? i can understand the side offsets as thats (...)   Re: Surveying MTBF of Edu NXTs

(...) Thanks Folks. I'm just finishing up a class for 9 & 10 year olds. When I get home, I'll try resetting and upgrading OOBER. Without the tears and emotions breaking around me, I should be able to isolate the bug. (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Build a Suburban House (or homes) for Brickfest

The Town / Train display is putting out the call for Suburban houses to populate the areas outside the city limits. If you haven’t built town MOCs before but want to give this one a try – this is the perfect opportunity as the investment in pieces (...)   Re: Surveying MTBF of Edu NXTs

(...) Ouch, I understand quite well, actually*. But I agree with John, it sounds like the NXT might be in firmware update mode. If you *haven't* already done it, download the latest firmware (1.04), and a patch for the driver (1.02), from LEGO's (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Cosmic Cruiser Blacktron-I Style

(...) Hi, very nice work; as Space sets hardly ever brought any "cargo" (barrels, containers ...), the Blacktron group can now steal vessels, at least :-) Regards, Florian (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.space)

Re: Death Star the Palitoy way

(...) That is amazing. I'm simply in love with it. I'm beginning to think that all my future lego building must involve playsets. Thanks, Tim (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Surveying MTBF of Edu NXTs

(...) It sounds to me like the NXT is simply in firmware download mode. There is no visible reaction on the NXT once it is in that mode but you should hear a faint clicking sound. That's what the reset button does - i.e., it puts the NXT into (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
