  NXC/NBC beta news

The shell service at Sourceforge is still offline so I can't update the BricxCC and NBC sites. But today I uploaded a new test release of BricxCC and a new beta of NBC/NXC (beta 27). They are available via the Sourceforge release page. Please pay (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 10183 LEGO Hobby Trains on ILTCO

(...) Thanks for the update Mike! For me this is incredible good news! I will certainly buy 2 at least! I'd like to thank much all of the AFOL's committed to this awesome Project and also to the Lego Team involved and the LEGO Company to make this (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Green Quad

(...) -snip- (...) I really like the colour scheme on this! Do they tyres on the toes turn? I don't think they do - but I can't be certain from the pics. It would be interesting (but challenging) to combine wheeling and walking on a robotic quad... (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: LDView Ortho View?

(...) Ah, good to know. Thanks Travis, I'll give it a shot. (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDView Ortho View?

If you set the viewing angle in LDView to 0.1, you'll get something that very closely approximates a true Ortho View. True Ortho is on the list of future features, but I just haven't gotten around to implementing it. --Travis (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad)

  LDView Ortho View?

Just wanted to drop a request for an orthogonal view in an LDView future release. Unless I'm missing something, it appears all of its views are perspective, which isn't ideal for instruction creation. I like the LDView render better than LDGLite, (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 10183 LEGO Hobby Trains on ILTCO

(...) The price point looks pretty good to me when you start comparing prices to Bricklink. Out of curiosity, I priced out just the train baseplates, doors, and sliding doors, and I was already up to $35 if I bought the parts from Bricklink. That (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Hinge wall alignment

(...) -snip- I shall have to build a flock just to try this for myself! Cheers! Richie Dulin (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Working Theme Park Ride: Enterprise

(...) snip... (...) It's more of a mess-terpiece ;) The colour scheme driven more by my meagre parts collection than any conscious decision. Close, each end has a captured half bush to help fixing (I'm sure they've got Lego stamped on them (...) (19 years ago, 19-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LDView 3.1 on Mac OS X!

(...) I have to wonder what QChar is defined as in QT4. In QT3, it's just an integer type, as far as I can tell. The wchar_t type is just an integer type (4-byte integer in Linux, 2-byte integer in Windows, not sure about OSX). I suspect this error (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
