Re: Text Based Programming for NXT - pbLua is Available

(...) That's a very nice page, John. I'm glad you at least went through the trouble of changing the background, before you claimed to have done the work and posted it. Here's the page I've been working on for several days, before John copied it. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: LEGO® Systems, Inc. sells Enfield complex for $58.9 million

(...) Keep in mind that wages in the U.S. are considerably less than in much of Western Europe. In Switzerland, the minimum wage is $22/hour. A lot of that is a consequence of the effects of VAT on national economies over there. Production in the (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

Re: NQC vs. NXC vs. MS-VC vs. RobotC

(...) I went ahead and put together a programming tools comparison chart that attempts to leave out any subjective information. It covers only the NXT and not previous generations of LEGO MINDSTORMS products. (URL) Hansen (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Text Based Programming for NXT - pbLua is Available

(...) No need to apologize, Ralph. And I definitely didn't mean to hijack your thread. Unfortunately some folks hear "assembly" and get a completely mistaken impression about NBC. Anyone who has had a look at Ross Crawford's NBC Tuturial knows how (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: What do these macros do?

(...) Lots of very cool stuff deleted. Sorry I missed your original message, Jeff. You can write to both the Normal and Popup screen memory and toggle back and forth between which one gets displayed. This code flips between the two buffers for 10 (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Electromagnetic device

Thanks everybody for the explanations! Everything start to make sense now. I understand that a resitor will limit only voltage across the circuit, but not current, this is very clear also. So, i will look for a small electromagnet, (9 volts) because (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.robotics)

Re: What color are new 9V train tracks?

(...) It seems that LEGO exhausted their inventory of old dark grey tracks and had a new run made up in dark bley. Some 9V tracks were out of stock over the holiday and, when they came back in stock, seemed to be from a new production run. The (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Cooperative assembly line (Was: Car factory)

(...) Well... huh. First, just getting the GBC standard hammered out took a fair bit of effort. Second, I'm not sure what to build. Several folks have now "shown the way" as to how to build and coordinate a large P&P ("pick and place") type (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 2007 sets: Huge RC Bulldozer and Combine Harvester

(...) I don't think so. the upper bogie looks like the backside of a small bevel gear, while the lower bogie assembly looks like it uses this: (URL) electrical connector is interesting. First, it looks stackable (there are electrical connections on (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
