(...) Gus is correct, although there are other targets which support arrays and indirect variables. NQC defaults to RCX as the target. I have written a quick-and-dirty NBC program that sends messages via BT to the PC. Then I have another quick-and-dirty Perl script on the PC that captures the messages and displays them to the screen or you can redirect to a file. I've been using it (...)
