  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Really? I find that surprising. One of the standard criticisms of the LEGO range is how many fire, police etc sets there are... I'm surprised anyone is really crying out for six more police, or six more firefighters, or even six more (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LSynth electric cable cross section oriention problem

(...) Hi Kevin, Another possibility to investigate is to change the up vector in inverse proportion to the bezier curve change. That would mean it would twist less where there's a sharper bend, and would possibly end up looking more authentic. But (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Would this work?

(...) It was only ever really a theoretical project. And then I'd have to come up with a way of connecting possibly nine sensors.   Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) I'd love to see a castle-themed Creator/model type set. Basically a bunch of bricks, and plates, arches, inverse slopes, various more specialized pieces (tiles, jumpers washers etc), and a baseplate. If they aren't going to bring old gray (...)   Re: Would this work?

(...) Steve, I don't think connecting the two RCXs through power adaptors will work. I'm not sure the details, but I think the rectifiers in the RCXs will cause problems. To get a common ground, I *THINK* you could connect the negative side of the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I've wanted for a while now to utilise the particular characteristics of the 2x2 Lego plate connectors. To that end I've built an all Lego multiplexer. (URL) I'm wondering now will it actually work?   Laptop cooling platform MOC

A year back I got a new laptop. One of the first things I noticed was how close it was to the table surface and how little air got to the bottom side for cooling.
