Here is the question:
What would be your LEGO Dream Set?
Before you reply, please consider the following: Your dream set...
| | ...would have to appeal to both AFOLs and Children, worldwide.
|
|
| | ...would have to be profitable for The LEGO Group to produce.
|
|
| | ...would be sold primarily through the Shop at Home website, as well as in LEGO Brand stores.
|
Please consider these factors and reply to this thread. You should also
include the amount that you would be willing to pay for your dream set.
(Note: This is an informal survey, and your responses will not guarantee in
any way that such sets will be made. The LEGO Ambassadors are listening,
though.) Thank you in advance!

1. I think classical aircrafts in sculpture(?) series (Red Baron and Sopwith
Camel) were excellent. And I believe enlarging the series with much more
classical aircraft like Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang, FW 190, Zero, Me-262,
Gloster Meteor, B-17, B-24, etc, would be a good idea. Add some more modern
classics like SR-71, X-1, X-15, etc, and even the most modern things like Su-35,
F-22, F35, etc...the possibiliies become endless. For fighter planes, the scale
could be equal to or a little bit smaller then the Fokker/Camel. For bombers it
should be much smaller of course, but I expect them to have 1000+ pieces in any
case.
2. Similar to the above, but ships this time...Titanic, Mauritania, a Viking
Ship, Colombs Santa Maria, a clipper, a WWII liberty, an ironclad, an U-Boat,
Bismarck, Yamato, you name it!.. Scale is not important, but I expect any of
them should come with 1500-2000 pieces.
3. Classical Buildings. No, Im not talking about Sears Tower or Whitehouse.
What Im talking about is normal classical houses that we use to live in. Like
victorian houses of UK, that beautiful houses Germans stil use, or classical
villas in Italy. In full detail, and in minifig scale.
No, Im not expecting any of them would be making money to TLC in bionicle
amounts. No, I dont care about wether they are war machines or not, since TLC
doesnt care much about that anymore for a long time anyway.
Cheers,
Selçuk
