  Been Gone Too Long

It wasn't too long ago that LUGNET was my second home. But for the past couple years I've had other distractions that have kept me away. I still build something almost every day, but I've been mainly using Duplo and Quatro since the birth of my son (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.people)

  Train Show details tomorrow

Good evening all... I know that no one's running around doing any last-minute furious building session... (Dave looks Jeff VW's way... Jeff!! Stop building and pay attention!! :) ) Anyway, the Mighty Dodge is loaded and tarped--I have 3 and a half (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Turrican - Mecha meets Alien

(...) Great, I think making a larger version that uses z40's would be stronger. That is why I built the Rizmit, the Skrylitch and the Beeesh. All three are based on the concepts learned in the Macro-Bot. (...) As long as YOU like it or, it does not (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Blue Bear

(...) Yay! Thank you! I brought the Blue Bear to my Lego Classes and the kids loved it. Some of the High School students want to go home and make their own. I think the next one I will do, I may try some different joints because I am running low on worm gears. Actually, (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: More Pictures from GWLTS-IV

(...) A pleasure. I also used the above tripod to grab some video footage. If anyone is interested in seeing my short movie of the display, you can download it (URL) here>. It's around 54Mb and about 5mins long. It also has a music soundtrack, so (...) (19 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

Did you ever find a good, inexpensive solution? I'm looking for the same basic chainlink look, where the previously mentioned items are a little too bulky, yet not intimidating-looking enough? Is chainlink not used in Denmark? Aaron (...) (19 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.build)

  iCommand 0.5 Setup/Test Problem

Hi, Just trying out iCommand 0.5, following the instructions in the README file. Have done all steps (except the step "In Eclipse, select the RXTXcomm.jar you just added and expand it by clicking +..." as I can't see how you can expand a jar and (...) (19 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)
