  Lego Superhero Comic

Hello, A couple of years ago, my friend Bryan and I put together a silly online Lego superhero comic called "The Unlikely Society." We managed to publish two issues, then real life stuff got in the way and we just kinda fizzled out. We're happy to (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town) !

  Re: Stoneguard Hold

(...) I vote good! Nicely done, I find the implied action very well done, that is one thing I've always liked about layouts, especially Keith Goldman's. -Jason (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: NSW Freight National 82 Class

(...) --snip-- (...) Hi Mark, I suspect Dan is very familiar with that set. You might want to check the box to see why. Tim (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  RC trainbase

After a long period of not doing anything with LDraw I started to make the new RC trainbase: (URL) I only have the black trainbase from set 7898 Cargo Train Deluxe. I don't know the color of the on-button and the channel switch on the white (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: I found an LDRAW importer for Google SketchUp

(...) Actually I wonder about that. I searched recently for good 3D modeler programs on the premise that using such programs could rapidly shrink part authoring time if done well. In the process I also found Pictomod3D ((URL) which looks like it has (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

Dirt Crusher (8369) vs Outdoor Challenger (8675)

I've heard the (URL) Dirt Crusher> (8369) has a somewhat poor RC transmission range of about 10-15 meters. Does anyone know if the (URL) Outdoor Challenger> (8675) is any better? Besides the color of the parts and the wheel treads, these two sets (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

I agree Jim, It's not worth it to tear down your 2 Detroit Art Deco masterpieces, the David Stott Tower, and the Fisher Building complex! They're awesome! Gary Istok (20 years ago, 26-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Pyramid of Khafre

(...) Thanks for your comments! Since my Lego model of the pyramid is only 82 studs per side (and 41 bricks high) and the real thing has a base measureing 705 feet per side, I would have to scale it up by a factor of 8.5 in linear dimension to (...) Does anyone know if the NXT Rechargeable Battery will allow you to leave the AC adapter plugged into the battery while it is connected to the NXT. There by powering the NXT off the AC adapter. Derek (20 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
