Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

It simply rocks! It's very unique, in a very good way. Awesome, awesome, awesome! (20 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: NXT and Phone Compatibility

In article <J4J9IK.H27@lugnet.com>, David J. Perdue <david@davidjperdue.com> wrote (...) I shall be writing some tools to run on phones and communicate over Bluetooth. I am in the middle of a writing project at the moment, so this may be a month or (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Wow! What an event!

Here at BrickFest 2006, I think we're too much in a state of euphoria to pause for posting. But BOY are you missing out if you're not present ;-) A few hours ago, I happened to overhear the words of one CEO of a certain company: "This place is on (...)   LDraw Java Applet?

I'm sure people have thought of this before, but it would be really nice to have an LDraw Java Viewer developed, so that models could be viewed in a web page. I imagine it could fetch the part files from LDraw.org, or, even simpler, have a utility (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) OOooooohhh Yeeeahhhh. (^_^) But I'm not a great reporter, so I'll allow others to relay the exciting news. -Suz (how's that for suspense?) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) This rocks, I am blown away. Gray and blay is thoughtfully mixed, and that looks really good. The "nose" has an interesting ducklike shape, giving this SHIP an unique profile. And a microscale SHIP, did you calculate how long it is for a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Where are the Belville lovers..?

Well, at least there are a few builders on Brickshelf that use Belville figures in interesting ways: (6 URLs) And in the long fan-driven range of (URL) tribute remakings> of set (URL) #1692 - Town Square> in other LEGO themes, there is also a (...) In lugnet.space, Jon Walker wrote: <snip> (...) Brilliant! Just spectacular! I like how I saw lots of Bab 5 bits of ships in there--the canons and other things. Love it! Dave K (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim)

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

Stuff I like: (3 URLs) I'm not so keen on the saucer bit up front - I think a flatter, more angular head would have been better. Also, missiles. I'm a sucker for missiles. Apart from those minor nitpicks it's quite stunning. I'll be borrowing bits (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Local snack-bar

Well, I have finally gotten all the missing pieces together and finished building the actual model, so here it is: (URL) MOCpages: (URL) Brickshelf: (URL) I had to make some changes due to little mistakes I didn't notice in the digital model but was (...)
