  Re: Tutorial on reviewing parts

(...) Just out of curiosity, have you tried using the latest ATI drivers? Or is it a notebook that the manufacturer hasn't posted updated drivers for? (I know you emailed me about this a long time ago, but can't remember the specifics.) Since the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Tutorial on reviewing parts

(...) I will try to have this fixed in the next release (I haven't implemented the fix yet). Also, the two triangles that LDView shows you are the ones that it chose to split along. There will always be two ways to split a quad into two triangles, (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Factory Set: Checkerboard Boxcar

(...) Hi Paul, I like it a lot. I like the details quite a lot. I build the few train cars that I do in 6 wide, but like to think of them as "beefy six wide" as I would this. I'd love to see this in dark red or reddish brown with the same livery. I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Hogwarts Express

(...) Yes, the buffer beam is a brighter red. That pic, with the light on it but not on the body side, shows the difference a bit clearer than some of the pics I found. I can see it more easily in the other pics now. I found it difficult to tell how (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Long Term Packaging

(...) Yellowing may not just be due to sun. A few years back, I opened some sealed sets that were from the 70s. They had yellowed blue bricks (but not all the blue bricks), so I assume there are other causes of yellowing than just UV damage (and the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Call for GUI part editor

(...) No, what I mean is: 'OK' or 'Send to Clipboard' in SyncEdit does an automatic 'copy', then in LDDP you should do CTRL-A (Select all), CTRL-V (Paste) to replace the contents of the edit buffer. Remember, a 'plug beside .exe' always gets the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Questions about doing a museum show

The GMLTC had our layout set up at the Minnesota Transportation Museum's Jackson Street Roundhouse for several months, it just about destroyed the club. We set it up late October 2005, and took it down in February. The museum is open on Wednesdays (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: More vehicles

(...) Pierre, you never cease to amaze me with the amount of detail you pack on all your town vehicles. You will be the source of inspiration (i.e. a person to copy from) for vehicles if/when I build my own town layout! -Bryan (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Tutorial on reviewing parts

(...) Man, that's seriously smart! thanks a lot, I'll add that to the tutorial when I get some time to look at it again. (...) I'm just amazed at the tips and tricks that is beginning to crop up in this thread with people pouring out their (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad)
