(...) I think Ondrew was talking about the "time-out" mentioned somewhere, that the IR electronics switches off after a certain time if there's no signal from the controller. I'd be interested in knowing that too. Also, if you get a chance, could (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) <snip> (...) <snip> It is slightly more complicated than that. In order to make it go up slow enough to be interesting, I had to gear down the speed of the motor. As such I go from 8 teeth (I think) on the motor to the big 40 (?) teeth on the (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) While on the subject of power suppies. It's been mentioned in the past by others, but I recomend swapping in a slightly beefier transformer to run your trains.
