Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto21 Tentative Ruleset Published

(...) temporarily delurking... I like the tug-of-war idea.... 1.5lbs sounds like a good compromise. And I like the battery box possibilities of this contest.... I do have a comment regarding the now defunct 2" string height limit though. Depending (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: The street

(...) Very nice. I particularly like the white waffle-bottom plates as doors and the stacks of 1X1 round plates as awnings. David (20 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) Upon thinking about it - not going to work That is kind of a problem though... *most* people with mouse problems aren't going to let the mice run free until they can build a Lego trap, and those without mice probably aren't anxious to get any (...)   Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) Hey, I have $0.02 here is my take. (...) I’m with you here. In 2002 I went to my first Brickfest. At that point I had just about no bricks and no Lego room. After that I started with castle but still did not have much in the way of bricks or a (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

First set of pics uploaded! MSZ-006 (prototype)

This build has been an ever-evolving process. I thought I'd post a few pictures to get started (and hopefully finished).   Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) The MILLION dollar question is... Is there a 3rd Party Vendor even interested in making the 9V parts? TLC could offer the license (I doubt they will) but if there is no party interetsed then it is pointless. (20 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Finishing the Lego Part/Set History CD.

Here's another example of a Lego table in the Lego CD. I use a LOT of these types of tables to show the variations in Lego parts/sets. And it is much easier to read than just text! Here is a table of all the Lego windows and door varieties. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

  The street

I thought I'd show off some pictures of my recent MOCs - buildings are mine, roads and trees by my lovely boyfriend. (URL) are just facades but that makes them easier to transport to fests for display. (20 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc) !!

Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) Dear Rafe, thanks for your story here. It was more worth than just 2 cent for me! I only hope some people at LEGO see, that metal track trains attract lots of people and that these often enough end with a 100.000 ++ collection of bricks. And (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I'd also suggest making the backpack a bit smaller, and in dark gray. The top isn't any higher than the top of the chest (excluding the collar) and only covers two thirds or so of the back itself. :) Jeff (20 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
