Hello folks, during the last weeks there was really low traffic on .build.mecha. And now! Four of ten entries in the Spotlight are in this wonderful thread. I haven't posted that much in the last 10 years on LUGNET, but when I do it's for a good cause. This should be a public community which fosters positive LEGO-related experiences, just as it was intentded by Todd Lehman, and Suzanne Rich-Green. (...) (...) It's gray. The problem I guess is that the palce where I took the picture has both incandescent and flourescent lights and the white balance doesn't work right on the camera. I tried to tweak that in the paint program, but did not do it well (...) (20 years ago, 28-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

That may all be true (but I would point out that last I heard, Lionel is alive and well, yet there are folks who only do vintage tinplate Lionel), but my main point is that by chosing to be 100% pure to a single manufacturer, we are totally at the (...) (20 years ago, 27-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)

It really isn't a high traffic site, and 'artwork' especially doesn't seem to sell very readily unless it has transparent baseplates. You'll probably get better prices (...)
