<Adjusts tie, with bulging eyeballs> Tough NG-- I gotta be my own straight man! (...) What? Minifigs do float???? Well then, by golly, I take it all back! That comic is hilarious!   Re: LEGO in Bizarro Comic

(...) Thanks for the heads up, Maggie! I'll say 2 things about the comic-- 1. NOTHING can ever replace The Far Side, least of which this tripe, and 2. it would be funnier if minifigs actually did float, which they don't, so where's the joke? The (...)   Re: Question for builders

(...) I LOVE the tank treads. MANY of my unsuccessful robots use them for the Rx games. If I recall, the bot that was more or less KING of the Hill had 3 PAIRS of tank treads. I mean, look at this GREAT pic of me, holding my WINNING robot entry. (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Modifed Classic Space helmet for town use.

(...) You jokestah! Well, just in case you are serious: Nothing for the airpacks, but I was fortunate - my first couple of space sets had torso stickers rather than printing, so I just peeled the stickers off and - hey presto - plain torsos!! Cheers (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: A few steam powered MOC's

Really great MOCs! To be praised by two'Nathan's they must be spectacular ;) I particularly Like the Steam Wheel, but the row boat modification is very well done, to make such a pre-molded piece look individual requires a lot of skill... Thanks for (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: My First Attempt At Making A Mosiac

(...) Hey that's really cool. Thanks. I liked Mech Bay 05. Though I wanted to re-use the parts in a different configuration, so I took it a part. Wow, it took a long time to sort. Hey I should post about that....not. lol. Mech Bay 07 was another (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Linestreamed racing zephyr

It's a cool looking MOC Tim. It has something of these old racing cars, in shape of cigars, rockets, etc... The fish design has something of the water drop perfect shape for aerdynamics - great feel of speeeeeeeed! Thanks for sharing, JP. (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Big Boys Toys

(...) Wow, very well done. Especially admire the level of detail exposed when the various modular parts go their separate ways: it all looks well-thought-out & well-placed. (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Santa Fe Super Chief wheel question

(...) Thanks for all the info Ben! I apologize if this question had been discussed ad naseum already, but I've done several unsuccessful searches for the info.   Re: LDA2006 Progress Report

(...) Thanks for the input, Tim. I agree. Exponential functions for acceleration or fall would be nice to have. Sinus and Cosinus functions will make smoother walks. The best would probably be support for splines or maps, but that's way beyond my (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation, lugnet.cad.dev)
