Well, seeing as you're on a Gundam kick lately, I have to say this is pretty obviously the Double Zeta of mech bays - all the elements are there, and some of it is kinda nifty, but it just doesn't come together. Nice! I specially like the ball trading part. I wanted bots to modify each other's IDs so they could label them, in their own way, as scammers. However, it gets complicated, and it loses some of the fun because of it. I visited the link on some (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

The idea for a "Block Transfer" style game has been proposed and will be tried in Feb. 2006 for the next rtlToronto game R20 aka Project Y (URL) basic idea is to start with ax 8' x 8' play area with 6" walls, and have up to 10 autonomous robots each (...)
