Re: Imperial Voidfighter (FBTB Contest Entry)

(...) Excellent reasoning behind the shape. And you made it work very well. But the best detail? You remembered to keep to the Empire's tradition of silly headwear. (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Boeing 7000

(...) I love the size and massive capacity. This does a wonderful job of capturing the feel of a modern-day passenger airplane pushed into the future. I'd like to see some more shots of the passenger compartment, and maybe get a better idea of the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  White Shading in Lpub?

I have captured the Snowman from LEGO 4759 ((URL) and rendered it with LPub. I am not sure why the white on the snowman images differs from the white used for the bricks in the BOM image. Does anyone know what I can set in Lpub so the model images (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New supercar.

(...) Thanks alot. I'm glad you're interested in the scale. I'm not sure I'll do the body in LDRAW because I'm not very good at acquiring the angles required. I also don't have enough patience. I'm going to do the front and the steering though. (I (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New supercar.

(...) Actually... yes. But the way I see it is that if the car were on the ground, the weight of the car would be able to force the diff to balance out. I'm not an engineer or anything, this is pure speculation. (...) Thank you so much. That was (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Retro Rocket - (Warning....Bonktron related post)

I'm sorry Janey, but this 'MOC' just straight up blows. First off, why is it Bonktron? The colorscheme? Usually bonk involves ships that look like something, but this one just looks like a ship. Second off, powered by spam? Umm, like, hello. It's (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: MOTM / SOTM Voting For December Is Now Open

Hey Orion, Would it be possible for people without logins to at least be able to see the entries, even if they cannot vote? I had a login at one point, but tried all my normal usernames to no avail. Bruce (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Boeing 7000

Hey Nathan, Very sleek. I especially like the way you made the side removable for access to the interior. How did you get the angle on the top engine thing? This part: (URL) Bruce (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New supercar.

(...) WOW! The re-routed differential assembly was an interesting idea. Question- If you spin the diff manually do both wheels turn or does only on side turn since it is heavier than the other? Your design proves that technic supercars don't have to (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)

--SNIP-- (...) OK. Cheers. I did think it was a bit strict but my reading of the rules was that it was a requirement. I'll email you a new version of my image. Thanks for the clarification. Tim (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: MOTM / SOTM Voting For December Is Now Open

(...) 800x600 isn't a hard limit on size, your entry can be larger. This doesn't mean you can submit a 8000x6000 image but 1024x768 is fine. The same applies for the 150k limit (however the rules wording on this point seems to imply differently so (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
