(...) For designing robots, I just search the web to see what other people have done. As Tom Lehrer said "Plagiarise, plagiarise - but always call it Reseach". For the software for mobile robots, I don't think anything beats Rodney Brooks's (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Tonight I hammered out the Droid Wheel Gear. I used lots of sub parts, and I think it is pretty efficient, especially considering how many fins and teeth this thing has! I will post the dats in a follow up in plain text. (2 URLs) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
