Re: GPLR - Portland LEGO Store Diorama

(...) Very nice! (...) Are these the inner case dimensions? ie: the build area? Were there any parameters or limits (aside from the display size) that you had to adhere to? Or, was it totally up to you what you created and displayed? Were you (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) I'll second that - the stories are great. I can understand the "gunbarrel" problem as well. I made a module that used a flexible paddlewheel (to prevent jamming) to push balls up a curved ramp. Smiling with overconfidence, I turned it on with (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: Arched Through Truss Bridge - LegoWorld 2005 Bridge strength contest

(...) Cool. I very much like your bridge. And you're right, there should have been a weight limit in the contest, otherwise, the person with the most LEGO will always win. ;-) Jeff (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: What I think should happen to Mindstorms.

I really think the Pneumatic/RCX tie in set would be good - with all existing parts, items in the constructopedia on building Switches which can be motorized with Lego, a nice number of tanks, cylinders and valves and a simple old Light and Sound (...)   Re: What I think should happen to Mindstorms.

(...) ... (...) ... (...) A "what I want in Mindstorms 3.0" thread comes up about every six months. It's about time for another one, but I'm glad to see it has a different twist. Are you suggesting they put the RCX & other electronics in a new box (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Adventurer's Train Update

About a year ago, I posted my (URL) Train>. While getting ready for an upcoming train show(1), I realized that Johnny and Pippin had vehicles for land and sea travel, but no air support. This called for an addition. And so, the Canary was built. (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) No. If it was work, I'd be doing something else. Like I am now. :) (...) You know, when you come up with one slightly interesting idea, suddenly people will line up to be willing slaves. I wish. If only I could say they're MY slaves. But, I (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Well, essentially I'd like to see a foot that allows for more extreme poses while remaining stable. The monolithic flat footed style can only go so far. The alternative is a foot that has articulation to mimic what toes do, not the useless (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Prossima sfida robotica (era XXI Legofest - Crema)

---...---cut---...--- (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)
