 | | Exporting Minifig to Maya - edgy model

Hey, I've been stuck with this problem for a while, so now I've come here for a discussion. It's quite simple actually, but I must say that I'm fairly new in the 3d world so I might have missed something crucial here. 1. I've made a simple minifig (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad)

(20 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

(20 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

The GTX train show is coming up in January. IndyLUG usually uses the same layout as they used in October, so we have the same size area allocated. I'm pretty sure everyone has destroyed their modules. If you don't want to rebuild in the same size (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

(...) If the rcx is on the train why not mount touch sensors on the underside looking down. You could then attach small ramps to the track which would trigger the sensor. If you put the sensors on a spring loaded mounting you shouldn't have problems (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

(...) recurring theme that "once you have sold a user a certain amount, they never need more product, so that's why LEGO went with licenses" is not one that I agree with, and I suspect I am not alone, many of us like to build big things.
