I tried to create a couple of images to explain give children, age 10 to 12, a good understanding of what polarity is. They all know changing the direction of the motor. Just a quick note - If you have video you don't have the bandwidth to host, and brickshelf isn't allowing video, try these guys: (URL) provide free public or private video hosting, and serve it up via a flash interface no matter what format you (...) (...) The key bit is the -W option -- it draws thick lines. The $scale is the width of the line, in pixels.
