Re: NewBrickOrder: oppressing your home prefecture since 05'

(...) Thank you Paul. I've always said, "That Brassington is a pro's pro." (...) Word to your motha. (...) Ummm...yeah...I'm gonna have to ask you to move your desk down to the basement. (...)   Re: NewBrickOrder: oppressing your home prefecture since 05'

(...) The fiery rhetoric has sputtered out, at least until I can refill the napalm tanks. Rest assured I'll be ready for your next moc though. The old standup act was getting tired and I had to pull it for new material. (...) Thanks Alex, although I (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Project looking for a camel

(...) For anybody wondering "Why a camel?", catalyst is written in Perl, and the Perl books published by O'Reilly (which has a habit of putting animals on their book covers) are adorned with a camel: (URL) the catalyst developers can't use the (...)   Re: Duke, cargo shuttle.

(...) I did enjoy, Mr. Buckland, and as usual I disagree with my esteemed colleauges. I like the orange window and the black section of the wings...in fact I like the whole thing despite its boxy shape. The nose is one of the best I've seen in a (...)   Re: Duke, cargo shuttle.

I like it a lot. I think it really captures the feel of what would be considered a workhorse type vessel - I could just picture dozens of these things in both flashy and non-descript liverys darting in and out of population centers delivering their (...)   Re: NewBrickOrder: oppressing your home prefecture since 05'

I must say - this small gathering is rather refreshing. I, for one, was wondering when a splinter group such as this one would arise... The only problem I have with the whole thing, is that the last time I checked there was no "fiery rhetoric" in (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Project looking for a camel

Anyone want to help a small open-source project? The Catalyst[1] project is looking for a logo. Specifically, they're looking for a LEGO camel: Here's the request on the list[2]: The way I see it, there's three ways we can gain access to a winged (...)   VENDO LEGO 7181 MISB

Ciao ragazzi scusatemi, non so come possa essere successo ma ho sbagliato codice! Il set è questo: (URL) dicevo ieri, ho intenzione di postarlo presto su ebay, ma se avrò una buona offerta lo venderò prima! Ciao Marco (20 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug.market)

Re: tic-tac-toe - Clearing the board

For now, I think I'm falling onto the side of "no bonus". Mostly, I want this to be a tic-tac-toe challenge. I'm assuming that if we get a dozen entries for example, then there will be a broad enough range of skill levels that the bonus won't really (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  50th Gold Bricks

The 50th Anniversary Duplo bucket 4085 would seem to be only available here in Canada - am I correct in this? Its photo didn't exist on the LUGNet guide until I added it and likewise the metallic gold bricks weren't on BrickLink until I added the (...)   Re: One more color question...

I have a couple of these tubs and if I remember correctly, they have new GRAYS and old BROWN in the tub. (I may be wrong though) I *think* the bonus box has a few pieces in old and new grays, but I'm not 100% sure of that until I get home. On (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: Can you solve the Wizard's Riddles?

(...) I double-checked against the photos minus the castle, and yes, there is a route past all four statues to the center. But in a purely maze-theoretic sense, it's not a complex labyrinth -- e.g. there's only one wrong turn on the route between (...)   Re: tic-tac-toe - Clearing the board

(...) This is kind of tough. My initial thought was to "tip the scale" towards a robot that can not only play, but also clear the board. However, I doubt anyone will be able to build a robot, then go back and add-on the "Clear-the-board" feature. It (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Duke, cargo shuttle.

(...) Top greebling is pretty neat, and the engines and their mounting are really cool. The overall shape is pretty nice too... But those wings!   Re: Announcing ILENN: the International LEGO Enthusiast News Network

(...) Yes, agreed. The yellow box was a last-second addition just before release, and the display isn't optimal by any means. I'm also working on a method to distinguish content that's new since your last visit, so that'll all change around. Thanks, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)
