Re: Selected Dino Attack sets now at Target

(...) Ok mystery solved. They hadn't put a sales tag on their shelf, that'd teach me for not getting it scanned :) On a sad note though, when I looked they had a copy on their discount table marked at $55. When I checked it today, someone has bought (...) (21 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Beeesh Art

(...) I will be setting up most of my completed models for an interview I am doing in my new studio, later this week. Perhaps then I can arrange for some video capture. Jama won't get scraped. The head may be rebuilt, and the hip sure do need (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Beeesh Art

(...) Any chance of a vid, I was a little disappointed that I never got to see more of Jama, so can you make sure you get some footage of it moving and doing its stuff, as well as demoing all of the more manual adjustments, before it is scrapped? (...) The Pnuematic cylinder raises the head up and down. The High RPM 9v Motor moves the head left to right. There is also a clutch gear located in the geartrain, to prevent breaking from over rotation; left/right. I installed the motor for the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: 1955 'idea book' Byggebog, translation help needed

(...) Awesome Dave! This is the earliest "known" idea book I have ever seen, and the only one I've seen with the early 1949-56 "slotted" bricks with windows/doors with "wings" that fit into the slots. By viewing all of the Lego parts on Page 2, (for (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: It's back! Long-Lost Jetpack element now being produced

(...) As rare as that piece was, I knew that they couldn't have used up the life of the mold yet. Now if only we could get a color besides yellow... David "Fuzzy" Gregory (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: My Latest Creation

(...) Yes, there is a standard Lego 9V motor for the steering. It is connected directly to the rack with a 12 tooth gear. The buggy controller is really well suited for hooking a polarity switch up to it directly. The axel output for steering is (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) As it turns out, a fish sticker would not win a sumo compeition. While it's a good strategy to not-lose, it would also not win very many matches, and would finish in the middle of the pack. (...) My suggestion would be a minimum weight (like 1 (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) If one of the rules will be that you have to have a hole in the wall into which the bricks will be loaded, then we might need to use the RCX to actually locate the hole. I think that by making that one of the rules, it might make it a little (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
