Re: The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

(...) The helix is just a 7-foot long wall of 1x2s wrapped around a technic frame. I couldn't do an interior because of all the supports and framework I had to build in; I considered building an interior just where there were windows, but never (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Space Tanker

Hey Daniel, Super-Mega-Way-Hecka-Cool!! I love it, especially the almost blinding canary yellowness. These must be some seriously dangerous chemicals! The amount of studlessness and SNOT work is really impressive and that smooth cockpit is aces. I (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

(...) Thank you! I debated about putting the rhino up, as I was hoping to get one of the new Viking horns first to use instead of the dual-horn I have now. And there's no need to apologize; up until this summer my name was Reed Anderson. (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Thanks! I'd love to see it in an SCLTC layout, too, but I doubt it would survive the trip... Ria (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

I'm a programming noob, so I may be off base there. As I understand it, Mlcad or (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Okay, maybe not a real MOC, but close enough

Janey, Just awesome! Now you just need to add Step 2, then Step 3 and . . . Be careful this doesn't spiral out of control and you end up turning into "The Enigma", that puzzle piece guy from the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow! But if you do, promise us (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Simply amazing. How did you handle the helix? Is there any interior? I love how all your projects deal with "nonstandard" part connections to make curved shapes. Your animal folder is particularly inspiring and fun. Great work! Darrell (21 years ago, 6-Sep-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Space Tanker

Greetings! Here's a new Space Tanker I made: (2 URLs) It is a modular tanker for transporting chemicals across space. I'll be posting to MOCpages later with commentary. Enjoy! --Dan P.S. Props to Wayne Hussey for the idea of using 1 x 2 axle bricks (...) (21 years ago, 6-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!
