  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

(...) Well that just sucks. They don't want too many people using LDraw, I guess? Because many users simply won't jump through that many hoops to get started. They'll download a CAD program, double-click it, see scary messages about LDraw not being (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

Re: MLCAD mirrored submodels - Help please

(...) Thanks Niels - you're absolutely right. Inserting the submodel higher up and moving it down sorts it. Plus new things underneath are sorted as well. However, I'd be very grateful to know how to mirror, if you could please. In this case (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: BrickSpace now available for download.

(...) Just so that ya don't put yourself out more money than ya have to - here's a list of Amazon available new copies. Under $2 for the cheapest one. :D (URL) Comp sounds like it oughta be able to handle it, and there is a file in the mod called (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: BrickSpace now available for download.

(...) I'll have to try it on my home PC when I get a copy of the game (I'm bidding on a used copy on eBay right now). My PC is something like a 1.3 Ghz Athlon, with an older GeForce card (AGP 2x) and 256 MB of ram. I'll let you know how it plays on (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  BNSF Dash 9

Hello, I've made a CAD model of Dash 9 in BNSF livery. It's 48 stud long and contains approx. 550 parts. (2 URLs) Some of the parts I've used don't exist in orange yet, but let's hope Lego will introduce them soon. Please let me know, if you like (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: LDD Help Needed

(...) Yeah, at the Brickfest speech, Mark? from the LDD/Factory team mentioned that it was possible to build models using the keyboard only -- we just had to find the secrets that were already in the program. I was hoping someone had found this (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Brickfest Pneumatic Master and new Pneumatic Gate Circuits

(...) I'm looking into alternative gate designs and I'd like to have a good library of them on my Brickshelf to then use as a resource for article pictures. This includes N-input gates of each type, as I intend to draw the module that can be (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Intelegent Train: was Re: Lego Train Factory - "preliminary wagon design"

(...) David, Just curious, what did you think about the intelligent train? My son really enjoyed playing with that. He probably would still be playing with it if I wasn't so into 9v trains. He enjoyed making it toot with the different bricks, and he (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

Dear Joe, I'll write more about your previous (good!) suggestions when I have more time later. For now, I'll point you in the direction of the Tools menu, where you'll find a "Show Colors" selection.   Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) I'm here - just amazed at the chaos I kicked up :-). Incidently, I've grown to hate those tank tread belts (those, originally, were going to be the conveyor, but they are just too stiff). I've now got more ideas running around in my head as to (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Truckfest/Scotfest

29th October 2005. The Boat Club, Aberdour, Fife. In an attempt to open it up to all Brickish members it is called a Truckfest. This is because at the last Scotfest it was suggested we each build a 8-wide minifig scale truck. It can be any length - (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Lego Train Factory - "preliminary wagon design"

(...) Thanks for finding the images. The wagon is much more complex that I expected. I had been looking at the Duplo wagons, expecting to be like them or very much juniorised. Will 5-7 year olds be able to build the wagons? I tell parents of young (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

(...) Unfortunately, I am very busy right now. Once again, I have to move and it sure takes its toll from my resources. But I'd like to repeat what I've said earlier on creating LDraw based animations. We have LD4D, we have POV-ray's support for (...)
