| | USB->serial adapter for IR-tower
Has anyone here tried using a USB->serial adapter for the IR-tower? I´m curious about this, since I have had bad experiences trying to expand the number of COM-ports on my machine (I have two on-board COM-ports, both used, now). Best regards, David (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

A simple way to overcome the unidirectional problem of the IR link is to build your robot with the RCX pointing up. Suspend the IR tower from the ceiling, pointing down. For a small room, this should cover the entire area. Only problem is when your (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Is it possible to get the uploaded datalog from the RCX into a file using Rcx Command Center? (PS great work Dave and Mark!) What will actually happen, if you fill water into the LEGO pneumatic parts? Will they still work? And will they become hydrolics? Jacob -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
