(...) Well, the issue in the plagiarism thread was a bit more clear-cut -- not only were they not original designs, they hadn't actually built the models: they just ripped the pictures from other people's web sites. (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

I don't intend to fight over Lego with my future kids. Every single brick they get goes straight to daddy. Dead simple. I'll let family & friends know all my kids want for their birthdays is Lego. In my local toy shop I have recently seen a sort of poster featuring Lego versions of Darth Vader, Luke and Leia (I think), except that the material is made of coarse looking material, rather than glossy paper. I think I'll go nag the shopkeeper, as (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
