  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

Wow, David Eaton just pretty much hit the nail on the head... Here's my $0.02: (...) They're fun to play with, and they'll never go "out of style". I can pass them down to my kids in the future. (...) Best quality compared to other building blocks, (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Vance Quantum, Galactic Hero

(...) Lance? Lance?! What kind of galactic hero do you think this is? The man's name is Vance. Vance Quantum. Obviously you were too distracted by that other visual fluff to appreciate this fine minifig creation. I for one, think it's cool how his (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Best pneumatic hexapod yet!

Hi Pixel, The walker was built to someday be able to talk in any direction, not just forwards/backwards. Sigurd, didn't have enough pneumatic hardware to make this version omni-directional. This left the two side legs elbows disconnected. I have (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: kadee coupler questioner

(...) I normally use the standard magnet holders clipped into the buffer bars from the top. Occasionally, I use a 2x3 plate with a hole. (...) Id probably get a few sets but that's about it. Most of my trains run as a set but I admit they would be (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) I have to agree with Dave S on this one insofar as it's sort of mundane for many of us to answer these sorts of surveys. I would seriously be amazed if anything appears in this thread that hasn't been voiced before, or has ever gone to Lego (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Train and Town @ BrickFest

You won't have to run the trains with the MOC cards stuck to them... although that might be fun! It if they are sitting in the yard etc... Did I your understand the queston right ? SteveB (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Re: Train and Town @ BrickFest

(...) Hi Steve, I am actually going to BrickFest this year, "Yeah, for me." I am slightly confused by your post. Can models that are on display with MOC Cards be run on the layout? If things can be run on the layout, what kind of clearance are we (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) I know. I decided to make this survey for that reason exactly. I myself have complained or praised dozens of new things made by LEGO and the chances of anyone actually caring what I or anyone else thought about just about any topic was almost (...)   Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) With due respect, Dan, I think that an eleven-question essay test is a bit of a turn-off. I speak only for myself, but I've already articulated their likes and dislikes throughout this forum, and I'm reluctant to go through it again. I suspect (...)   Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

This is my final plea and I will be silent about this (I will post the results though) from now on. Lugnet isn't filled with little children. There are thousands, I think, of members here who have jobs, families, children, spouses and other things (...) (...) Thanks for the comments. Everywhere you look in the LEGO community there are great things going on so it's fun to share some of your own stuff from time to time and find that it perhaps inspires others to create further. (...) WOW! Followed-up with JEALOUSY ... followed-up with another WOW. That is so amazing. My favorite use of a brick: a broom end that was used to represent meat at a market table ... nice. Thanks for sharing. Brian (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

  Re: kadee coupler questioner

(...) Amen. When LEGO decides to "invest" again in 9volt and maybe make new tracks, etc., I'll start regaining some interest. Until then, I'm persuing other themes of interest with more passion that trains. SPACE! (21 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Being critical of LegoLand Günzburg

(...) Oh boy, sorry you had some many issues with the park, Maarten. That's a bummer. I've routed your notes to the General Manager of the LLD park.
