  The "Who's Attending BrickFest" list

I can't seem to get the list to go beyond a certain length (like, 'M'). Are others experiencing this? (URL) I see we're up to 236 sign-ups. There must be a legal cap to how many may attend. I'm curious, what that number is. btw, what's the highest (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: I've got what Iain Hendry's got, was Re: Swan Firmware

(...) Hi John I've fixed the problem. I tracked it down by commenting out parts of my program. Luckily I started on the function containing the problem So I found it very quickly. Solving the problem took longer though. As you can see below I've (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  ParLUGment's summer gift exchange

Hello everyone Some of you may remember that ParLUGment held a "secret Santa" gift exchange back in December of 2004. Everyone seemed to have a good time, so we decided to do it again. Being too impatient to wait 12 months, we came up with the idea (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.town) !

  Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) Even if the person who buys them has internet access doesn't mean you do. It would be a bit crap if as a kid your online grandma ordered it for you and then you had no instructions! Tim (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(...) Can you please email me the NQC source so that I can generate the listing to see if possibly the compiler is generating invalid code? John Hansen (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) Yup! As pointed out on LEGOFan, the sets form a size progression so there can be different price points, the third one is the biggest. (...) I agree. I would rather see names. Perhaps LEGO was thinking some were underage and wanted to keep (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

I've got what Iain Hendry's got, was Re: Swan Firmware

(...) I've got the flashing five problem as well, and it's really annoying, I spent most of my Friday in vain trying to fix it. I thought/think it's a stack overflow problem, but after serious optimising of my program It's made zero difference. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) In my freelance period for LEGO I was able to see the winning models and the preliminary packagings. Of what I've seen the real names will also be included on the packaging, but on the backside. In the contract that all participants have (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Joe Vig Contest Entry - Joe Runner

(...) Thank you very much Brian. It was a fun little MOC, and I must say, I am pretty fond of anvils myself. (Other hobbies of mine include perennial gardening and occupational folklore. So naturally the two mix and my garden is adorned with a few (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

Re: Help set a LEGO world record this weekend!

Here's some Day 1 pictures of the world record US flag build attempt at the 2005 OC Fair. With the flag pole reaching high into the sky (or so it seems!), we're ready to start. (URL) Jeff Elliott and David Michon confirm that the starter course of (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX) !

  Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) WooHoo!... but...what if someone gets these & doesn't have internet access (the boxes say the instructions will only be online)? Or will the sets only be an online Shop@home exclusive? These sets are too good to be limited to catalog or online (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) Indeed! Congrats to all the winners! If you look closely, all the winners and the name of their entries are identified in orange titles on the boxes near their model. I hope that is also done on the final sets, but I would prefer their real (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Joe Vig Contest Entry - Joe Runner

I gotta agree with the good Rev. here ... there's something inherently funny about a falling anvil and Janey that is a beautiful little anvil. I liked this vig a lot. Brian Darrow "The Rev.   Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) Nod. (...) I think it's more than 3... each set seems to be an agglomeration of several of teh winning entries, for example one set has both the monorail city slice AND the Statue of Liberty model... I think that's pretty cool! (21 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)
