  Re: New TTX Container Wagon

(...) Do you get "two" what? Your question isn't clear. The set comes with 2 bodies and 3 bogies. So you technically get one car, but it's 2 units. (which is what the box is showing, it's not showing 2 cars, just one 2 unit car) Parts to build 2 (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: New sets at TRU

(...) I just got the new 8420 Technic street bike yesterday at TRU, and it seems to be at every TRU in the Charlotte, NC area now. No mini Catalog in that one either. These days I am visiting TRU regularly (1-2 times a week) hoping the new 8421 (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Lego Sets That Were Never Produced

(...) Ooops! I forgot to show what was probably produced in 1961-62. To do that, one has to look at the 1963 catalog (all these set versions with the same set numbers were actually first produced in 1961, with the exception of the tall box version (...)   Lego Sets That Were Never Produced

A while ago I mentioned that some early USA and Canada sets from 1961-62 were probably never produced. I think I can pretty much confirm it now. The 1961-62 USA and Canada Samsonite Lego catalogs show some pretty impressive sets: (URL) Here is the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Legowiki

(...) OK, I have a question.... what will a Legowiki provide us that we don't already have in Lugnet, Peeron, Bricklink and Brickshelf? I am not sure that we need another reference guide. Of course I am speaking with bias here cuz I'm coming out (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

20% off clearance toys at K-Mart (US)

A K-Mart I visited today had a sale flyer at the door. It indicated that all clearance toys were 20% off the current clearance price. After some checking, I found that the price scanner was already reflecting the additional 20% reduction. This (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Ministry of Space is GO!

(...) You do realize ambassador and Britian don't have the best history... Great MOC though! I love the mass produced/ heavily used colour scheme that is still sharp enough to make an impression...   Re: The barque Dodelijk Klompschoen

I am impressed! She would probably be impossible to sink with that..erm...'reinforced' hull. And with all those guns she would be a real menace..if she ever caught anyone... Of course assuming she floats she would destroy all the standard lego ships (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

Even after my usual 'I am not a townie...' disclaimer, this is really great! I am very impressed with the scale and compact nature of the detail... I pay you the highest compliment at my disposal: You should build castle ; ) God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: LAY OFF THE GLUE!

(...) Well - just ordered one from S@H Canada. $70 CAD which is quite a bit better (after conversion) than the 50 Euro price I heard from the initial information Supposedly shipping by June 30, but my experience is usually they ship sooner. Cheers. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: picture help

(...) Normally I'd recommend Brickshelf, but with recent events there (and a request at the top of Brickshelf to use Maj.com), I'd think Maj would be a more surefire bet. At least for now. Kelly (21 years ago, 11-Jun-05, to lugnet.people, FTX)
