3742 Tender Basis packs FS @ 4.85 each

Hey guys. A long time ago, I acquired a large box of 48 sets of 3742 Tender Basis. Without the Engine Basis or a color pack, these sets are useless to the average person. I have no use for them, and they have been sitting gathering dust in my (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf going away???

(...) The web is wonderful but it ain't permanent or free. If the people who use brickshelf think so much of it (and I have always been impressed with it), then they should be willing to pay for a subscription to upload and download images. Or have (...)   Re: CSI: The Rizmit did it.

(...) Hold on!! You reworded the first law and through the rewording left out a critical part. it should read "A robot may not through action or inaction allow a human being to come to harm". I am an Asimov reader too! ;-) Anyway - glad to hear you (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Brickshelf going away? Or: Can we take action to prevent?

(...) Eeesh, let us hope that this is not the case. Let this only be a duck and cover drill... Lugnet, Brickshelf, MOC pages are the three points of conjunction for all LEGO interests. This would be really bad, as in a death blow to the greater (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: advice for robogrip

(...) Do you mean robot hands? If so, try the one from my robot: (URL) It's actuated with pneumatics at the moment but the two 24mm pulleys have bevel gears linking them, to keep the fingers synchronised, so you could use a motor and low gearing to (...)   Re: Brickshelf going away???

(...) That is not necessarily true; brickshelf.com could run a simple CGI that redirects any queries to the corresponding location on maj.com. Since they seem to be running the same software and have the same URL structure, it would be pretty (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf going away???

(...) Raised some good points. I had similar thoughts/feelings on reading the news. This is big, and it's bad. Don't forget we've already lost MOCPages (at least for the moment; I've crossed my fingers) So losing BS would be like losing a fat chunk (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf going away???

(...) Thanks, Kevin! That message about transferring files to maj.com made it sound like the galleries were going away, too. Is there anything we can do to help? I've already donated, but would be happy to add to my donation if there's a funding (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: CSI: The Rizmit did it.

(...) I think Asimov's three robotic laws come into play: 1) A Robot shall never carry out any action which will cause any injury to any human being. 2) A Robot shall always obey a human being's orders provided the first law is not violated. 3) A (...)
