Re: An Idea for Brickfest? Feedback appreciated

(...) Some areas can't go completely black because of the emergency lighting. Rooms like 336 (where the Moonbase was last year) can go completely dark. Christina (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Am I the only one who hates Lego parts with missing notches of plastic?

The studlet would hopefully be well designed that it was still a partial stud, and still be able to connect upwards to a plate from underneath - it would basically be the intersection of a normall stud, and the outer curvature of the macaroni (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

(...) In danger of being pelted with bley bricks, I just was to say that I agree with what Mladen and Keith said. And now back to building... -- Nathan Wells (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Star Wars Weekend Tie Fighter

(...) Now this is a model I would love to see LEGO put out as a UCS. Gah, makes me wish that (a) there is a LEGOLAND in Phoenix or (b) Phoenix was 373 miles closer. (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, FTX)

Re: Part 41770 certified but missing sub-file??

(...) Doh! I thought I had already installed the latest parts update. My goof. (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: An Idea for Brickfest? Feedback appreciated

(...) I was just about to say something similar. I also vote for a single Moonbase display that can just glow when we turn the lights off. WE can have scheduled black light times for the private as well as public periods of the fest. (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

(...) Oh it's not prohibited. It just would have been better handled via email. This is just an example of more of the inflammatory kind of thing that has been far too prevalent at LUGNet lately. (...) All righty. I'll send Lar an email. Since (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 8366 test drive

Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) I'll have to disagree. Also, this has been part of the standard for some time. But I do feel for the short modules. I think it's just a matter of placing the shorties in a good spot. (...) Well, they can still just build at the normal height. (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Re: Moontruck

(...) I'll be getting to it as soon as I'm in an LDraw frame of mind again. Promise. It works really well. (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) This post right here more or less seals it with me that we should stick with one corridor size. :) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Re: sharing chocolate

Hi Saskia, Your model is really well done! I love the minimalist ducks! I'm making a Gazebo as a wedding cake topper. I'll post pictures as soon as I can... Thanks for 'sharing chocolate' with us! Rich (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

Re: Can't build brickOS on Linux

(...) Look if there is a configure switch to disable building the standard C++ libraries (you don't need them for brickos). IIRC building g++ only gave an error after it built and installed the g++ compiler, but that was with gcc-3.4. (...) I think (...) (21 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
