Re: LEGO game good for kids?

You might try out LEGO Creator. It's a board game that revolves around collecting the pieces to build constructions. You could also look into the X-Pod game, but it does feature fighting between robots and dismantling and such. Frank (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: The Brick Testament: Gideon!

(...) Thanks, Bruce. (...) I'm not sure why I got wrapped up in creating mosaic patterns out of headlight bricks before trying the simpler idea of creating them out of regular ol' bricks and plates. I guess the headlight mosaics have the nice (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  LEGO game good for kids?

I'm looking for new ways to play with LEGO with my young son. When he gets older, I'm sure we'll enjoy BrickWars and BrickQuest and Evil Stevie's Pirate Game and so on. But they're both too complicated and too violent for him at this point. The game (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: various space MOCs

(...) Do you mean the gray spaceliner that had one of the sides crushed? haha. If so, that one is on a post here somewhere. But there was also some other micro moonbases that I didn't work on (and I think one got dropped rather nastily too) Jeff (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: 'Cause my friends told me to

My bad--a little more research and I found out that I can't make a go-cart in teal (dark turquoise). There is 1 x 4, 1 x 8 and 1 x 16 technic beams in teal, but, and this surprised me, no 1 x 2's in teal. That's odd, considering that 1 x 2 technic (...)   Re: My First Real Dive Into The World Of Mech-Dom: The KOP Trooper

(...) Yep mecha is really wild :-) Sorry but that just made me giggle...in the good tickling. (URL) Looks good for a start. Nice and solid construction. Welcome to the wonderfully frustrating articulated world of mecha! (...) Personal Pref, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: 2005 Mecha Pose Contest

(...) We're looking for new pictures. Or pics not yet published. So you couldn't use an image that's been on BS for a month but would have to take a new picture of the creation or use a picture that no one has seen yet. Any creation images that were (...)   Re: 2005 Mecha Pose Contest, rule clarification

(...) I completely agree with you Chris (...) Then someone has entered an entry that probably neither origional nor inventive. (...) Yeah, I hear you. I thought on this one and re-focused myself on what the goals of the contest were. And who knows, (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: 2005 Mecha Pose Contest, rule clarification

(...) I will be entering a gla frame in the 6 to 12 in mech class. Mainly for fun but I also have a pose that is NOT seen in his gallery. I wanted to do this to show some of the ability of his design. My pose for the frame is original. I also will (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)
