They don't have any dark grey 1x8 technic bricks in the ISD but they do have black 1x8 technic bricks - maybe this was confusing you somewhat? Doesn't photograph well, huh? They say the camera adds 10lbs, so maybe he's actually sort of anorexic looking? With the exception of the tan dog-robot heads for fingers I dig the color scheme.
