  Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) YES (...) Because it's one of the best learning tools available and "it's a new toy everyday" - this is so true and a whole generation have missed this phrase. It also outlasts most other toys in terms of interest and durability. (...) I'd get (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

(...) I would, and in fact I do, for my little brother who turns 11 this June. (...) Because it's LEGO. In my mind that is a reason in of itself. (...)   Re: LR-11200 Completed

That sir, is amazing! How did you do that!?! How did you raise it to full height, how many ladders did you need, did you go up on the roof to secure the final Technic axle? The cab and jib, all the elements came together great! Now, back to the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: WR02-ZRX1 Skin Build

(...) Thank you, I enjoy it too. I like plates, slopes and wedges. If I sort some more, maybe I can make some more too! You hit the nail on the head, segmented cladding. yep. Glad to hear from you! Thanks! e (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: WR02-ZRX1 Skin Build

(...) -snip- (...) Thanks, glad you like it. I had fun building it. Despite the somewhat simple design, I think it's personality will stand out over the course of the skinned frame series.   Re: Paladin MkII

Hey Marco, I really like this Mech. I think it is a successful build. The angled chest is what really gets me. Very unussual. The head is nice. I see lot's of cool tricks like the types of joints you used as well as the slopes and plates. The feet (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The two Drakes

Those legs are beefy! Massive! Super cool ankles! I like the modularity. The parts you used on the gun pods are very cool. These must be impressive in person due to the size and proportions. Thanks for sharring! e (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Talking to myself here, I just wanted to add a few things to this: (...) - More small sets. When I was growing up in the mid-80s, I would take my $3 allowance most weeks and go to K-mart or ShopKo to buy LEGO. Fortunately, each theme would have a (...) (...) I actually aggree with this. Over the years I have been buying lego, I have bought many sets on sale. I have actually bought things on sale that I would never have paid full price for. (...) Yes! (...) Because Lego encourages creativity and is a toy which can grow with the child. (...) I'll answer cynically here. I'd make more models that have value added when put together.
