Hey legohaulics! The previous post was screwed up, so I'm reposting. Here is one of my recent MOCs, a bike scaled to minifigs. It does seat a minifig, and has a decent amount of chrome and SNOT. (URL) is the MOCpage. Enjoy, and please post (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.announce.moc)

(...) Well, can't say it's exactly good news for those of us who bought Ambassador passes a few weeks before the divestiture announcement! (We certainly don't go to the parks for the rides.) -Ted (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.lego)

(...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug.market)

Hi James (...) Glad you found it useful. (...) [snipped lots of good stuff] Useful suggestions, James. I knew all of that (at least in theory), since I've been a model builder since the 1960s (although, back in '67 I was more of a Stick It Together (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)

(...) You'll be happy to know that the coming L3P (yes, I know I've said that too often) has #ifndef's around everything, e.g.: //// Primitive stud.dat #ifndef (stud_dot_dat) #macro stud_dot_dat(L3ArgTe...,L3ArgMat) L3MacroBegin("stud_dot_dat") #if (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Quite sweet, this. Personally, I would say this belongs in both space and trains, as it has a bit of both. Great detail, great moc. I'm jealous of your amount of replies, my posts never get any. :) Congrats on the first "spaceish" model. -Josh (21 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

 | | Minifig-scale Motorcycle

Hey legohaulics! Here is a MOC of mine, a bike scaled well to a minifig. Motorcycles are one of the harder things to build in legos, and I think I captured it fairly well. The chopper does seat a minifig, and has a fair amount of chrome, and plenty (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.announce.moc) !

 | | Re: Alternate connectors
|

While the 9V connector is cheap - I am quite happy to go with simple In-Line 2 pin connectors (IDC) - they are small, and cheap and have a fairly neat finish. The PP3 battery connectors would be somewhat bulky and look a little clumsy. Plus this (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

I dunno - but I really like the compact adder-subtractor drive. I have been messing with those a lot - and that is very small. -- (URL) - Build Robots (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)
