  Re: New Galactic Inquisition Mech.

(...) Stunning, is all i can say... The whole Crusader feel of them lends to the imagination of this thing having hoards of religous zealots running around it's feet purging the infidels... Awesome mech, too bad about the cat... (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Trouble creating building instructions using lpub and mpd file

(...) You are right, but the error handling problem is larget than just blanks in file names. All of this boils down to the wimpy method that LPub uses to parse LDraw files. If you type in a meta-command “0 LPUB PIL”, rather than “0 LPUB PLI”, lpub (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, FTX)

Re: LEGO reports improved financial results

(...) Well even though TLG is downsizing, it looks like they are headed in the right direction. This is good news for all AFOLs (except of course for those few who publicly stated that they wish ill will on TLG). Looks like a sizeable part of the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Trouble creating building instructions using lpub and mpd file

(...) I apologize in advance if this is a stupid solution but what about this: Is there a way for you to check for spaces in the file name as lpub attempts to open it? If so, can you then abort the file open process and throw a pop-up message that (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Judge Deborah

Or you can use the metal wire used in battery boxes like (URL) here>, or simply say that you did. I mean, cutting up lego pieces seems worse to me than using an invisible paperclip. But hey, it's your party :) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Packing MOCs for Shipment - Suggestions?

Re: LEGO reports improved financial results

(...) That's some heroic spin from our man Jorgen. See this: The result after tax for the year was DKK -1,931m compared with DKK -935m in 2003.   Re: Question for the LSC. Blanks in file names legal?

(...) Yah, I think that was the first official part with sub-part files. (...) I'd lean toward updating the files with 's/' references to 's\'. The PT is definitely coded toward using only backslashes. Steve (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) It's funny that you posted this. I'm working on my own version of an RS-1, and I ended up using the same piece for the roof, though my roof looks to be a couple of studs wider.
