Re: My latest venture into trains: 4-6-4 Locomotive

(...) I'm too lazy to respond to everybody but I'd just like to say thanks to all for the warm words. It's projects like this (and the turkey, and that 12 foot long spaceship) that make me alternately giggle like a schoolgirl and shaking my head as (...)   How to make custom parts?

First I'd like to say sorry for asking the question you guys probably get asked more often then you like. I searched and found a thread on it but the link to the FAQ at ldraw.org was bad. So my question is, does any one have a good link to an FAQ (...) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Joe Vig's morning stroll

(...) Actually, I called dibs on making a vignette of a humerous scene of attempted time travel from the movie Napoleon Dynamite. We watched it at Jeramy's house after the meeting was over. Jeramy bought the movie, so we can play that scene for (...) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) Thank you! (...) According to her she felt that it contrasted with the overall shape-- I reminded her though that these are Lego blocks and they are by definition chunky. (...) Thank you for your comments! Brent (21 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) Believe me if I had the talent to build in minifig scale I would. But I really stink at it. Thank you! Brent (21 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) Yup, I am sure it is, but then again so was the original GeeBee racer. Maybe in the future you wont have to worry about good visibility -- at least that is what I keep telling myself. (...) Well, that is not entirely true. The X-1, the first (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Joe Vig's morning stroll

(...) Man, that trainhead is wearing nothing but gloves and a chest tattoo. I'm surprised they moderated it. ; ) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) I agree the engines are for sure the week point. I made them removable so if I ever get a clue as to how make better looking ones I can easily yank the old one off and snap new pretty ones on. (...) Thank you! Brent (21 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
